BRIEF HIS TORY OF THE
SCHOOL
The school was founded in 1986
by Mr. Jacob ldowu Oku-Pevi; it was established to provide
functional Basic Education for children at their formative years.
Primary classes one to six were introduced in 1988 in order to give
Qualitative Education to children of primary school
age.
The first teacher of the school
was Mr. S.K. Agyekun an educationist. The school started with a
population of 101 pupils and the school population stands at 264
pupils i.e. boy 123, Girls 141.
ACHIEVEMENT
UP-TO-DATE
1. The school
held her first Inter-house sports competition in 1996 and many
distinguished personalities were present.
2. The school
presented 17, pupils for the first leaving certificate examination
in 1995 and 14 of them passed with distinction and 3 with
merit.
3. We usually
register out pupils for external examinations and they have been
performing creditably well. Many of our pupils had been admitted in
to Federal Government secondary school, Lagos state model secondary
e.t.c
4. In
1995, the school took part in Lagos state quiz competition for
Nursery and primary schools organized by the Golden crown
Educational Services and emerged as the Mushin Local Education
District Champion.
5. In 1999,
the school also took part in the Nigerian Children's Festival
Competition and was presented 2nd overall Winner
Award.
6. The school
participated in the 9th Children's Festive 2003 competition which
was organized by the prince promotions Limited (RC: 167953) ON THE
23rdMay, 2003 at st Finberg's College Auditorium, Akaka, Yaba,
Lagos.

7. The school
participated actively in the 2nd Arts competition for the nursery
and schools in Lagos state which took place on the 27th June 2003
at the National Arts Theatre, Lagos; It was organized by the Gold
Mac Ventures and the Nursery schools competition.
8. Our
athlete represented the school at the Mictec International School's
6th Annual Inter-house sports Competition which took place on
Friday 11th Feb. 2005 at the University of Lagos sports centre,
Akoka-Yaba.
Our girls took 3rd position in
the girls' Invitation Relay Race.
The school was invited by the
LUTH Staff School to take part in the invitation Relay Race. The
invitation was accepted and the school took part actively. The
girls took 1st position and the boys took 2ndposition.
9. The school
participated actively in the 2005 children's Day competition
organized by the LTV 8 on the 25thMay, 2005. Master Faruola who
represented the school in the catching the train race took 1st
position.
10. The
school was awarded 2nd prize winner award for musical Excellence in
choral competition organized by Edico Music International on the
14th March, 2007. The schools also come 1st in the debate
competition organized by the same organization.
11. An
off-shoot of the school is 'Prince Heirs' college located at 153,
Itire Road, Mushin.
